I haven't written here in a long while. I need to get back on the ball. I been cracking out too much on WoW but I will slow it down now. I got my confidence back with my art. I got a book from paperbackswap about Oil painting for the serious beginner, and its just made to draw again! I love it! Plus is warmer now.

She's your Proto-Goth Icon Match!

During 1979-1990 in Los Angeles, Dinah and 45 Grave were churning out their own
brand of Ghoul rock...

"Birthed from the nascent no-futurism of L.A. punk rock circa 1980, 45
Grave were largely unheralded characters in the emergence of goth as a
cultural touchstone. Perhaps that's because they never took themselves
too seriously. Unlike scene contemporaries Christian Death, 45 Grave's
liberal embrace of surf rock, party-down metal, and horror-movie
exploitation kept the music fun while still scaring the crap out of
concerned parents." -Greg Beets

Link: The what Proto-Goth Icon are you?

Rainy, sleepy sick day.

Yes, the last few days has been hell for me. I have a bout of a stomach virus/flu.

I been reading the The Bizarro Starter Kit ...so far I have read all of D. Harlan Wilson which were At The Funeral', 'Cops & Bodybuilders', 'Hairware, Inc.', 'The Man
In The Thick Black Spectacles', 'Classroom Dynamics', and 'Digging For
Adults', and Carlton Mellick III, The Baby Jesus Butt Plug.

Well, I have to say so far my favorite were Hairware, Inc., At the Funeral, and Classroom Dynamics. Carlton Mellick III, is so far the only story I have read from him, and it was pretty good.

I am so happy that my husband got me this books for Christmas for me. Also he got me Ocean of Lard by Carlton Mellick, Kevin L. Donihe, and Terrasa Ulm

, and Angel Dust Apocalypse by Jeremy Robert Johnson. I am going to read those after I am done with The Bizzarro Starter Kit.

Last night I finished reading Santa Steps Out by Robert Devereaux. I have to say I was disappointed. Halfway through the novel I was rating it maybe 3 stars, but after I read the ending. I am fighting with two stars. Damn did I hate the ending. The one I have read from him was Deadweight, which I liked except for the writing style. To me he doesn't have good character development in the two books I have read and that is extremely important to me. I also didn't care for the writing style in Santa Steps Out. Sometimes I caught myself rereading a passages because I couldn't tell who was talking or who it was about.

The good about this novel, the idea was fucked up. Like all his books. Santa humping the Tooth Fairy every few pages. Easter Bunny is a peeping tom, and Mrs Claus gets her revenge by having a massive orgy. It sounds great right, but it just leave you saying so.

Yes, the story is original but that is all it has.

I really hate to trash writers. Its an art form that is very hard to please. Especially in this day in age where people don't read as much.

Rat people tend to be creative, intelligent, impulsive, and ostentatious. Rat medicine teaches interest, involvement, and the ability to live in the moment. Rat is both a symbol of luck and misfortune, of taking things as they come and the ability to deal with whatever comes your way.

This test categorized you based on four different axes of personality, which were then associated with a different animal. The four axes, as well as all possible results are explained below.

Wild/Domestic: This first axis categorizes you based on how much you are drawn to the outdoors, versus how much you are drawn to civilized situations. Domesticity has many shapes and forms, and varies from the joy of dolphins leaping next to a ship to the steadfast loyalty of a family dog.

Gregarious/Solitary: This axis measures how solitary you are. If you scored high, it means that you enjoy the company of other people, while a low score indicates that you prefer a more solitary lifestyle.

Trickster/Serious: This axis measures how well you line up with conventional trickster archetypes. People who fall into this archetype have a sense of humor and an excitable, highly chaotic streak. Scoring low doesn't mean that you don't have a sense of humor; it just means that you probably don't think dynamite is very funny.

Intellectual/Emotional: This last axis determines whether you are more emotional -- acting based on feelings and instinct, or rational and intelectual -- acting more on thought than on your gut feelings.

Wild

Gregarious

Trickster

Intellectual

The Hyena

Wild

Gregarious

Trickster

Emotional

The Otter

Wild

Gregarious

Serious

Intellectual

The Antelope

Wild

Gregarious

Serious

Emotional

The Wolf

Wild

Solitary

Trickster

Intellectual

The Weasel

Wild

Solitary

Trickster

Emotional

The Coyote

Wild

Solitary

Serious

Intellectual

The Raven

Wild

Solitary

Serious

Emotional

The Frog

Domestic

Gregarious

Trickster

Intellectual

The Fox

Domestic

Gregarious

Trickster

Emotional

The Dolphin

Domestic

Gregarious

Serious

Intellectual

The Horse

Domestic

Gregarious

Serious

Emotional

The Dog

Domestic

Solitary

Trickster

Intellectual

The Rat

Domestic

Solitary

Trickster

Emotional

The Ferret

Domestic

Solitary

Serious

Intellectual

The Cat

Domestic

Solitary

Serious

Emotional

The Squirrel

59.4 degree's, and its gonna get cooler. This warming trend we have been having is slowly fading away into coldness. It might snow this weekend. Outsides looks dreary. The sun came out today maybe for 15 mins. That was while I was awake. I woke up around 1:30 pm. My neck still hurts like crazy. I believe I slept on it wrong a couple of days ago.

Lately I been feeling depressed, and I really don't have thing to be depressed about. I do once again but its out of my reach. I been feeling unmotivated. Lately I been jealous of a friend. I have no reason to feel this. I am so happy for this person but I just wish, maybe I was as talented as them. I feel lost. I feel I have no talent. I hope this feeling will pass.

Well, Its about 51.1 degrees. Pretty fucking warm for this time. I am not complaining though.

Today I haven't done much of anything. Just bored. I been zoning out a lot. My husband says that is dangerous cause I may roam to far, and not come back.

A few days ago, I wrote a review for Clown Girl by Monica Drake on here, and of course I never posted it. I shut down the computer and lost everything.

It seems that I have to contact the Seller on Half.com about my purchase I had made on Nov. 14. This was something I wanted to get my husband more than anything, and its not here. I hope the seller forgot to send it or something not lost in the mail. I hate the mail system during the holiday season, it fuckin blows.

Yesterday My husband, and I went to Gainesville did a little shopping. I behaved. I bought only four books. Two horror and two fantasy. I got Servants of Choas by Don D'Ammassa , something is lurking in the water. The villagers don't take kindly to strangers, all that stuff. It was very reminisces to Shadow over Innsmuth but I'll see when I read it. Second book I got was The Dragon DelaSangre by Alan F Troop. This book takes place in Miami about a dragon(s) living among the city. Third book Twists of The Tale : An Anthology of Cat Horror edit by Ellan Datlow. Last book is a Xena: Warrior Princess edit by Martin H Greenberg.

I also got some hair dye for my hair. Now I don't have to order it online which was such a pain in the ass. We went to best buy after words, and bought From Beyond, Lord of the Rings, Two Towers, and Return of the King special edition for 12.99 each plus they came with a Golden the Compass ticket. Also I had a five dollar coupon. So I saved a lot money yesterday. The thing about the Lords of the Rings box set they were on sale last week for 12.99. They failed to take the ticket out. Bingo. I have to remember to go on Tuesdays when they are changing the specials.

Lately I been uber depressed. But I kicked it in the ass today, and I am starting to feel better. Maybe its just a seasonal thing. I really have nothing to be depressed about. I do but those things are out of my control, and I just don't have time or the energy to be stressing about something I can't change.

I been doing the same. Reading more than usual. I just been to cold to do anything. I want to paint, and such but I feel so frozen. I could never live more north but I also think its because of lack of installation in this house. I just gotta force myself to do things.

I am almost done with Clown Girl. I should be reading instead of typing here. I will write a review after i am done.
